This privacy policy explains how IoPT Norway - Institute for Trauma Work collects and uses personal data.

IoPT Norway - Institute for Trauma Work, by the general manager, is the data controller for the company's processing of personal data.

The statement contains information you are entitled to when information is collected from our website (section 19 of the Personal Data Act) and general information about how we process personal data (section 18(1) of the Personal Data Act). The basis for collecting the information is the purchase of a service (when registering for a course) and consent (when registering for a newsletter).

Registration information

We collect information in order to provide our customers with the best possible services. When you sign up for a course with us, we store the information you have voluntarily provided to us by completing the registration form. This includes your name, email address and billing address.

We use this information to process your order, including invoicing, sending out course reminders and course materials, and taking care of special needs, such as food allergies. In addition, we may send you information we consider useful to you about our goods and services.

We do not pass on the information you provide to third parties, with the exception of approved data processors with whom we have a data processing agreement. Since the information you provide when ordering a course constitutes a sales contract, this information is stored in our customer register in accordance with the Bookkeeping Act.

Newsletters

When you sign up for the mailing list to receive IoPT Norway - Institute for Trauma Work's newsletter, we only collect your email address and will only use it to send IoPT Norway - Institute for Trauma Work's newsletter. Your email address will not be passed on to any third party, and you can unsubscribe from this list at any time. The email tool we use for mailing is called MailChimp.

Information cookies (cookies)

iopt.no uses cookies, which are small text files that are stored on the user's computer.

Our publishing solution (WordPress with extensions) places cookies on your computer. These are used to provide you with a functional user experience on our websites.

Furthermore, we use cookies from Facebook, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Search Console to collect statistics and usage patterns on the site so that we can improve content and user experience and ensure that marketing is as relevant as possible.
