This thesis explores shame and guilt as survival strategies enacted through the body,

examined through the lens of Identity-Oriented Psychotrauma Theory (IoPT), known as

the Intention Method developed by Professor Franz Ruppert over the last 30 years. The

study is motivated by a deep curiosity and commitment to understanding how these

emotional dynamics operate not only as personal feelings but as embodied survival

strategies.
