Constellations of intention – the way out of the trauma biography

Foreword by Marta Thorsheim

What do we do when the body says no and develops symptoms that neither doctors nor psychologists can help with?

In this book, Professor Franz Ruppert, Doctor Hans Banzhaf and other professionals explain how behind every physical symptom lies a piece of life history. With a number of different examples, they show that what at first glance are inexplicable physical problems can have their cause in unprocessed painful experiences that happened early in life. The explanation is that such early trauma can lead to a splitting of body and mind which has major consequences. The authors explain how this happens, and show how the path to healing goes via a process where what has been divided can be made whole again.

Franz Ruppert's self-developed form of therapy, which he calls Psychotrauma Therapy with IoPT, can reveal what lies behind the body symptoms. This is how lasting relief becomes possible. This knowledge is both simple and revolutionary at the same time. But as long as we do not consider the whole human organism when people seek help for their ailments, we pay a high price, both as a society and as individuals.

IoPT as a form of therapy is linked to a profound and research-based theory. That violations in childhood can lead to illness in adulthood is no news, but in this book the research and theory that explains why this is so and what can be done is presented in a thorough and easy-to-understand manner. Many people do not consciously remember what happened in the most vulnerable years of early childhood.

The reason may be that a psychotrauma has been repressed from consciousness. This happens when reality is too difficult to take in, when you simply cannot handle it. Then the person's protective mechanisms come into effect, and the memories are displaced. But they don't go away. The body remembers what has happened, and over time the trauma experiences become visible as pain or anxiety. Many diagnoses that have become very widespread in our time, such as ADHD and symptoms such as burnout, are understandable on the basis of this knowledge.

As long as people are trapped in their trauma biography, they live under high internal pressure. Over time, this results in many bodily symptoms and diseases. It could be the cardiovascular system that stops, pain in the muscles and bones, teeth that grind at night, digestive system out of order, or an immune system that doesn't work as it should. And one day the body doesn't want any more.

This book is an important contribution to avoid it getting to the point where the body has to reject the world in this way. The book shows how anyone who wants to understand and take their health into their own hands can do so. The memories can be retrieved through the method presented in the book. Then what you need to know will come up in the process. And then the healing can begin.
